Anadarko Industries recently signed up with our NASA JSC Safety Team Partner, NLT, to participate in the Bay Area Heart Walk on Saturday, November 10th at the Kemah Boardwalk.
The Heart Walk is an opportunity to change the future and make a positive impact in the lives of those who are affected by heart disease and stroke.
Chances are, you also know someone who has been affected by heart disease or stroke. One in three Americans has some form of cardiovascular disease and stroke is the leading cause of disability in the United States. We can change this by walking and raising funds for the American Heart Association.
Our participation in Heart Walk promotes fun ways to be physically active and make healthier choices every day. Imagine the impact if we reduce death and disability from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20 percent by 2020.
The power we have together far outweighs what can be done alone.
